Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial statements, proposing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger. You’ll play a key role in supporting the month-end close process and assisting with annual audit preparation, while also helping to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.This is a hybrid position, with 3 days in our Nashua, NH Headquarters.Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Perform monthly flux analysis for both the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, identify and explain significant variances, and document findings for management review.
  • Maintain and review general ledger activity to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and appropriately classified.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, responding to audit requests, and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and various internal reports.
  • Contribute to quarterly reviews and implementation of internal controls.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and improve processes.
  • Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems preferred (Sage Intacct).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A team player who’s eager to grow and support the broader goals of the finance team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • This role is open to US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States. Rightworks LLC is unable to offer visa sponsorship.

  • Relocation will not be offered for this position.
