Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.The FX Business Technology Analyst role for the FX trading & Risk Management systems will be participating in various strategic projects and BAU initiatives in the FX Applications department.
We are looking for a new team member to develop and maintain the platform centred around a Murex Front to Risk system and a margin collateral management system to manage clients’ risk.
The position requires a high degree of business knowledge, high self-organizational capacity and complimentary technology skills in the FX market (front to back), subject matter specialist on MX.3.1 and experience in hands on configuration, testing and deployment of innovative solutions in an agile environment.YOUR CHALLENGEThe role reporting to Zurich based head of FX team encompasses the following tasks and responsibilities:Change the bankActively participate and support Program Increment (PI) planning process within MarketsCapture, specify and document business requirementsAnalyse, configure, test, implement and document functional changesParticipate in necessary analysis and implementation of business logicDiscuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholdersTest & onboard new functionalities and bug fixesCoordinate and conduct functional testing of new functionalitiesAccompany end-users during SIT and UATContinuously drive and improve the platformRun the bankSupport and troubleshoot issues raised by business users ranging from market data, static data, P&L and riskInvestigation of STP failuresSupport for new reference data setup (currency pairs, portfolios, generators, archiving groups, etc.)Investigation of trade life cycle eventsTroubleshooting of end of day processes and batch resolution queriesEnd of day reports maintenance. (typically business driven, alteration of query conditions)Support simulation tool issues. (e.g. PnL and Greeks discrepancies, risk matrices setup, PnL explain, etc.)Availability one weekend per month for production deploymentsYOUR PROFILEBachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, banking, or related relevant field10+ years of experience preferably in the financial industry involving MurexStrong understanding of FX trading front to backExcellent understanding of FX cash, FX Options, derivatives, precious metals and Fixed Income productsGood knowledge of Linux operating systems, database & SQL related queries (Oracle, Sybase)Profound technical & business functional experience of the various FX modules in Murex (MX3.1), life cycle events, simulation/livebook, P&L and risksGood experience on design & configuration of Pre-trades rulesKnowledge on Murex Datamart reporting & Murex Limit Controller “MLC”Able to work autonomously in a global team setup to take on initiative with a positive attitudeSolution oriented and able to work in an agile setup & strong analytical skills, able to specify and document requirementsAble to quickly troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutionsWillingness to contribute to both analytical tasks and performing hands-on implementation and testing tasksPrior working experience with requirement gathering and user acceptance testingHighly motivated blended with a team player spiritFluent in English, in written form and orally German (would be an advantage)We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
