Benefits December 2025DetailsJob Description :Our client in British Columbia is looking for an Procurement Specialist.Must Have Primary Skills :Client requires Resources to provide expert procurement advisory services to the Division’s Customers. These services are project-based, and include, but are not limited to, competitive procurement processes such as Requests for Proposals, Requests for Qualifications, Tenders and Invitations to Quote.
Develop and manage Canadian competitive procurement projects.
Manage and undertake competitive procurement projects for the company, as if and when requested. Qualified Resources will act as advisors to customers, providing advice and services to assist customers to select the best supplier for their specific requirements while adhering to all Canadian procurement and contract laws.
Specific projects may include RFPs, RFQs, ITQs, RSAs or ITTs, and may also include research tools such as, but not limited to, RFIs and RFEIs. Opportunities will generally be posted on the BC Bid Website, and may also be advertised using other methodologies.Nice To Have Secondary Skills :Assist with development of terms of reference documentation for Customer approvalProven Experience In :The Qualified Resources’ role is advisory, whereby recommended actions and options are presented to the Customer, but the Customer makes and is responsible for all decisions related to their projects. However, in the event of a dispute or vendor complaint, the Procurement Consultant will be expected to provide related advice and documentation.
Perform needs assessment, develop business case, perform risk assessment.
Identify and develop procurement strategy
Research, create, review, comment and provide input into solicitation documents;
chair vendor/proponent meetings
respond to vendor/proponent enquiries, in consultation with Customer staff
Review and provide input into scoring overviews and synopsis of evaluation notes{1}
