Job description: Job Title: French Speaking Credit ControllerLocation: Reading (Permanent) HybridSalary: Up to £32,500I am currently partnered with a global organisation that is a market leader within their field. To support the continued growth of the business, they are recruiting for a French-speaking credit controller to join their dynamic finance team. This role involves managing Credit Control processes for French-speaking clients, cash posting, ensuring that incoming payments are correctly applied to customer accounts. Additionally,producing reports on outstanding debts, reconcile payments, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulationsKey Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the entire payment process, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and timely delivery of invoices to clients, followed by effective collections management.
  • Reconcile incoming payments with outstanding invoices and update financial systems accordingly.
  • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and allocate payments to supplier accounts.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of cash and card General Ledgers (GLs), investigating any anomalies and ensuring accurate records.
  • Communicate and document any discrepancies or fraud concerns, ensuring prompt escalation.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in all financial records.
  • Upload and review fuel and shop expenses, investigating variances where necessary.
  • Post ad hoc journal entries as required to maintain accurate financial reporting.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve payment issues, ensuring a professional and effective resolution process.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
