Job description: OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Manager with expertise in Power BI, accounting, auditing, operational management, financial modeling, business partnership, and strong financial acumen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights through data analysis and operational oversight.Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Lead and drive efficient, accurate financial reporting process. Coordinate and work intimately with IT to structure data warehouse and build out PowerBI ecosystem of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business partners and management.
- Data Driven Analysis & Insights: Drive decision-making through data detailed financial analysis and data-driven insights. Oversee flow of related data from data sources and ensure transparent workflows for clear visibility to all stakeholders.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with commercial and operational departments to understand their needs, provide financial insights, and support decision-making processes.
- Financial Acumen: Apply strong financial acumen to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide key recommendations for improvement.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory requirements.

- Subject to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and Ajinomoto Food’s HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures, assisting the Ajinomoto Food health plan with day-to-day activities involving protected health information, including but not limited to, assisting with employee claims, coordinating benefits, determining health claim status, determining eligibility for coverage, budgeting and renewal, billing and collection activities, obtaining assistance from third-parties for plan functions, and any other duties delegated by the HIPAA Privacy or Security Officer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management and or a related field. CPA or MBA certification preferred, but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, auditing, operational management, financial modeling, and business partnership. Proficiency in Power BI is essential.
- Skills:
- Passionate and Proficient in PowerBI and its capabilities. Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel Modeling and PowerPoint will be essential to success.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Pay range $135,000 to $145,000
