Our team has experience in all types of forensic investigations and commercial disputes, and in helping organisations manage and reduce risk.The role is Hybrid with option for base office in Dublin or Cork. (Role may require occasional travel to client sites.)About the role:Assist clients to react quickly to investigate allegations of accounting misstatement, fraud, bribery and corruption, including regulatory breachesLead multi-disciplinary teams, collating and assessing evidence (e.g. via document review or formal investigation interviews)Conduct in-depth financial analysis and draft formal reports in the context of expert witness or investigation assignmentsWork with clients and other Deloitte teams to provide pragmatic solutions to manage risk (including risk of fraud) in situations of crisisWork closely with our Forensic Technology team to extract and review both structured (i.e. databases, enterprise systems, etc.) and unstructured (i.e. email messages, audio files, etc.) data to assist in investigations and assessing/monitoring fraud riskHave the opportunity to work directly with Partners; and work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contributionBuild a broad network of client relationships within the forensic communityDevelop new methods and tools to support the high quality and innovative delivery of advice and services to clientsAbout youForensic managerial experience in a big four or leading forensic or accounting firm, or alternatively within a forensic/investigations practice of a large corporationMembership of a professional accountancy association required (e.g. ACA, ACCA)Minimum of 5 years experienceAbility to lead multi-disciplinary teams and projectsAbility to draft complex reports with minimal oversightExposure to investigations, commercial disputes, crisis management, fraud detection and preventionWorking knowledge of e-Discovery tools such as Relativity, Brain-space and other data analytics tools or techniques is favourableExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to clearly articulate technical findings and complex concepts.If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we encourage you to apply.
