Job description: Greetings from Synergy Resource Solutions, a leading HR Management Consultancy Firm.Our client is Company of medical scrubs (dress for doctors and surgeons) who is looking for a skilled problem solver to join the team as Sr. Forecasting Analyst This company is Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA, with offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This is the world ‘s largest manufacturer of medical scrubs (uniform apparel). They distribute their products through multiple channels including 3rd party retail, wholly owned retail ecommerce sites, and corporate branded sites.Job Position: Forecasting Manager – MarketplaceOffice Timing: 11 am to 8 pm or 12 pm to 9 pmWeekdays: 5 daysLocation: Ahmedabad GujaratExperience – Minimum 4 yearsPrincipal Responsibilities:

• Maintain & Enhance Forecasting Processes: Manage and optimize existing demand forecasting models to support accurate inventory allocation and prevent stock imbalances.

• Drive Growth: Identify opportunities to scale operations, improve efficiency, and expand forecasting capabilities to align with business growth.

• Analyze & Adapt: Monitor sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and marketplace dynamics to refine forecasts and drive continuous improvement.

• Inventory Optimization: Ensure replenishment cycles are efficient, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations while supporting profitability goals.

• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, sell-through rates, inventory health) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders in the US and EU to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.

• Stay Proactive: Keep up-to-date with marketplace trends, policies, fee structures, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the industry

Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables), Power Query; familiarity with Power BI or SQL is a plus.

• Proven Success in High-SKU Environments: Experience managing large catalogs (10K+ SKUs) in fast-paced settings is highly desirable.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions that impact business outcomes.

• Global Collaboration Skills: Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with international teams across time zones.

• Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders and mentoring team members.

Qualification & Experience:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: 4+ years in demand forecasting or supply chain management (Amazon/Walmart experience preferred) 1–2 years of leadership experience managing direct reports or cross-functional teams.
