We invite you to join our team as Equinox Gold works to achieve its vision of becoming the premier Americas gold producer.Job Summary:The role involves close collaboration with the General Manager and the Assistant Controller to enhance the site’s budgeting and forecasting tools. This position requires interaction with all onsite departments to produce timely and accurate financial reports.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be the onsite expert on the current budgeting and finance tool, identifying areas for expansion and improvement.
• Analyze monthly costs in SAP, ensuring proper allocation of expenses.
• Collaborate with the finance team to present data in the corporate format.
• Streamline departmental accounts and verify appropriate charges. Review past expenditures for consistency with the streamlined accounts.
• Enhance the accuracy of cash flow calls and forecasts.
• Analyze and verify data reports across various systems.
• Ensure reports, forecasts, and budgets are prepared for review on schedule.
• Perform additional duties and projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or budgeting.Proficient in Excel, familiar with SAP, and knowledgeable about accounting principles and systems. Strong analytical skills are essential.A solid understanding of accounting and related systems, with the ability to interpret data and develop, review, and assess operational reports. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and Power BI is a plus.The hourly pay-range for this position is from $40.15 – $55.29 based on experience.What we bring:
