Job description: Kavaliro is seeking a Forecast Analyst for our Jacksonville client. The primary goal of this role is to provide valuable insights into all general ledger accounts and to forecast future expense obligations tied to these accounts. This position plays a critical role in supporting financial performance and strategic decision-making by offering essential data and analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough variance analysis on financial statements, comparing actual performance to forecasts and budgets.Identify and provide explanations for key factors contributing to variances.Prepare and deliver variance analysis reports to senior leadership.Develop and maintain financial forecasts for all general ledger accounts, ensuring alignment with business goals.Collaborate with different departments to collect necessary data and assumptions for accurate forecasting.Regularly update forecasts to reflect shifts in business conditions and external factors.Apply financial modeling techniques to analyze trends and project future performance.Proactively identify areas for improvement in the forecasting and variance analysis processes.Implement best practices and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications0+ years of experience in business, finance, or a related field preferred.High School diploma or GED required.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.Solid quantitative and analytical skills.Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Skills & CompetenciesAbility to manage confidential information with integrity.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable working in situations of ambiguity and independently managing tasks.Capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Experience engaging with and presenting to senior executives.Kavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
