Job description: As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and tactical plans. Your Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of a customer focused marketing strategy for the line of business in assigned markets through the execution of associated marketing plansRecommend marketing programs to the Marketing Manager and business units that build awareness, drive customer demand, grow customer base, advance the organization’s brand and differentiate the line of business in regional marketsLead small to medium sized projects by collaborating with cross functional teams – from design through implementation and support – to execute the marketing strategyCollaborate with Operations and Sales teams to identify, define and produce ongoing marketing materials and promotionsWork with internal subject matter experts and external agency partners to coordinate and assist in the development of communication programs to support marketing initiativesWork closely with the in-house Creative Services, Loyalty and Media teams to ensure smooth and accurate execution of promotions and programsDevelop and execute local marketing strategies and plans in coordination with regional leaders that will improve awareness of the brand to drive business in regional marketsLeverage marketing data and analytics to make recommendations on marketing campaigns and improve them while they are in market; track and evaluate ROI and other metrics as they relate to marketing initiativesHelp drive continuous improvement in the customer experience by identifying and bringing forward solutions to address areas of opportunityManage assigned budgets and complete variance analysis effectivelyYour Skills:Ability to adapt and work effectively within a matrix organization requiredAbility to leverage data analytics and complete variance analysisMicrosoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, WordAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordinglyWork well and effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environmentYour Experience:3-5 years marketing and brand experience preferredPost-secondary education required, preferably BBA with a marketing major#LI_HybridIrving Oil is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
