The objective is to offer standard and tailored solutions and grow our market share. The team has a culture of being proactive, thorough, and thoughtful with clients and strives for a reputation of excellence in the marketplace. While there is a focus on revenue generation, comply with both internal and external operational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements is key.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive coverage to UK institutional clients for SFT’s fixed income products such as Repos, TRS and Securities Lending.Demonstrated relations with UK institutional clients with deep focus on Hedge funds, Agent lenders, asset managers, insurance companies and Local banks ALM’sBe responsible for specific client’s portfolios, listen to the client’s needs and understand their specificities to match trading capabilities. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of relations with hedge funds, agent lenders, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies and local ALM’s.Negotiate orders received from clients, coordinating the pricing and deal closing with the Trading desks.Prospect new clients in the region: open new relations, carry out onboarding process, coordinate with Legal contracts (GMRA, GMSLA, ISDA) negotiations and assist the clients to get the required documentation if desired.Keep a constant dialogue with all BO/MO/Legal/Risk stakeholders and comply with internal and external operational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Contribute and participate in the business automation process (new IT tools and platforms, strategic and commercial plans, regulatory changes, etc.).Be a good team player and pitch in when needed regardless of assigned client coverage.Qualification & Experience:
- Studies of Finance, Economics, Engineering etc.
- A Master’s degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration is highly desirable.
- At least 7 years of work experience as a sales or sales trader in SFT’s fixed income collateral (Repos, Reverse Repos, Securities lending, TRS, …) is required.
- Experience in management/information systems and programs: Bloomberg, GMLX, Tradeweb, Murex, Excel etc… background in VBA, Python, C++ would be a plus.
- This position will require the candidate to have the locals authorities required certification.
Languages:
- Native Speaker or proficiency level in English.
- Spanish, French, Italian or German will be desirable but not essential.
