Job description: Financial Systems Administrator – ERP Lead 100% Remote (WFH) OpportunityGeneral SummaryThe primary responsibilities of the Financial Systems Administrator include the implementation, governance, and maintenance of the Oracle Cloud financial systems (ERP/Fusion). The position will report to the Manager, Financial Systems Administration. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the Oracle ERP/Fusion financial system, software, and databases to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Responsible for system configuration, troubleshooting, and user support. Collaborates with finance and IT teams to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations. Develops and documents system procedures, controls, and security measures. Monitors system performance, resolves issues, and provides training to users. Analyzes data and generates reports to support financial decision-making.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gathers and documents information on Oracle ERP/Fusion processes, organizational structure, policies and procedures, and proposes process improvements
  • Analyzes Oracle ERP/Fusion system designs to determine and document opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Coordinates with IT counterparts and 3rd party partners, as appropriate, on Oracle ERP/Fusion system updates, including quarterly system updates
  • Continuously evaluates opportunities based on new technology and trends in the industry for Oracle ERP/Fusion
  • Oversees procedures for maintaining and executing model data governance within Oracle ERP/Fusion.
  • Develops OTBI reports and trains team members to utilize reporting tools
  • Evaluates internal controls and security of new and existing Oracle ERP/Fusion applications to ensure adherence to auditing requirements
  • Monitors the procurement, development, and implementation of new systems to ensure proper integration with the Oracle ERP/Fusion system with IT coordination
  • Troubleshoot Oracle ERP/Fusion issues as they arise and coordinate escalation to managed services team, as needed.
  • Contributes to the various departmental and enterprise wide projects as needed
  • Assumes other responsibilities as assigned or as circumstances dictate
  • Monitors automation jobs through Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and occasionally updates integrations as needed
  • Assist accounting team when needed on enhancements to current Oracle ERP/Fusion processes and procedures
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to drive success and achieve organizational goals through partnership.
  • Mentor team members and serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the department.
  • Communicate changes effectively to staff, analyze their impact, and support implementation for improved performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Certification

  • Oracle ERP certifications preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.

  • This position is REMOTE, and only open to candidates currently located in the United States. It requires a suitable space that provides a private and quiet workplace.

  • May work early, late, or occasional weekend hours to accommodate business needs.
  • TRAVEL: May be required to travel to off-site location(s) to attend meetings, as necessary.
  • This role potentially and will routinely use office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and web conferencing technology as examples.
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some mobility is required.

  • MUST HAVE 3-5+ years of professional experience as an Oracle ERP/Fusion administrator/consultant that included participation in the design of Oracle ERP/Fusion financial accounting system
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials modules and underlying data structures.
  • Experience with Oracle security model, role-based access controls, and approval workflow setups.
  • Proficiency in supporting integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)., REST/SOAP APIs, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Experience with reporting tools like OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of effectively addressing complex challenges.
  • Exemplary written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
