Job description: Job Description:The CompanyAn exciting opportunity within a fast paced, growing businessThe RoleFinancial Reporting AccountantJoin a leading global alternative asset manager specializing in private credit, real estate, and hospitality. We’re seeking a highly skilled executive to become an integral part of our Group Finance team at our head office in Sydney.About the Role:As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure the preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting for our Group. You will collaborate closely with finance professionals, supporting group reporting and month-end activities to meet our statutory and internal reporting obligations.Key Responsibilities:

• Support the year-end and half-year ASX financial reporting and audit processes.
• Prepare key financial statement items and group finance reporting deliverables.
• Manage journal preparation, posting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure the accuracy of legal entity balances and assist with compliance processes.
• Oversee month-end closing processes and support the integrity of financial reports.
• Assist in the development of technical accounting papers and finance procedures.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external auditors.
• Provide support for finance systems administration tasks, including General Ledger and Legal Entity Control systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in financial services or a similar industry.
• Proven experience in ASX-listed financial reporting and financial control.
• Strong IFRS technical knowledge.
• Experience in managing multi-currency group consolidation.
