This role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across all gaming, non-gaming, and support services business units. This role is a key part of our wider Melbourne finance team and offers great learning exposure and a genuine career progression path.You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accurate financial reports, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting month-end close processes and variance analysis across business units.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Collaborating with finance business partners and stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy.

About YouThis role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement. Ideally you will have experience working in a large complex organisation and be able to navigate intricate problems.You will also bring:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA/CA qualification (or in progress).
  • Approximately 3 years of practical accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with systems such as Peoplesoft, Opera, and Progen.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-first mindset.
