Job description: This role manages finance reporting, including monthly accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and funding needs, working with the treasury team on loan matters. It also involves preparing reports for senior management, analyzing financial performance, ensuring covenant compliance, and supporting accounting issues and ad-hoc tasks.This role manages the overall finance reporting function, including monthly accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, funding requirements, and treasury matters (with guidance from the treasury team). It also involves preparing reports and presentations for senior management, providing key financial insights and updates.Key Responsibilities:Management Accounts and Reporting
Provide stakeholders with updates on financial performance and key developments, delivering detailed analysis and insights into business performance.Annual Budgeting and Rolling Forecasts
Set performance targets for the business, establish KPIs for management, and ensure accurate budgeting for expenses and capital expenditures.Loan/Funding Requirements, Covenant Compliance, and Cash Flow Planning
Ensure sufficient funding for operations and expansion, collaborating with the treasury team on loan-related matters.Accounting Issues and Ad-Hoc Support
Resolve accounting issues promptly, support technical accounting matters, and liaise with external auditors on assessments such as impairment, going concern, and deferred tax. Assist with special finance-related projects as needed.Career Growth Opportunities|Positive Work Culture
- A university degree in Accounting or a professional accountancy qualification recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance, with preference for candidates who have audit experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Malay.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
