Job description: HugoBank is seeking an experienced and strategic FP&A Lead to oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. This role will play a key part in delivering actionable insights to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure efficient capital allocation across the organization.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop long range strategic & financial plans, developing assumptions, understanding market dynamics and growth potentials.
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process in collaboration with business units.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, explaining variances and trends to management.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives, investment opportunities, and strategic plans.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and board-level stakeholders.
• Partner with business teams to develop KPIs and track financial performance.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and data accuracy.
• Provide scenario analysis and stress testing to support risk management.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor financials to inform business strategy.
• Assist in capital planning, liquidity forecasting, and profitability analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA/CA/ACCA preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance, preferably in the banking or fintech sector.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and financial modeling.
• Expertise in Excel, financial planning tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Adaptive Insights), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Solid business acumen and ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
