Job description: Our client is a large service delivery organisation and has a vacant position for a trusted and credible advisor who can provide advice on financial reporting, budgeting and business performance to build financial literacy capability across the organisation. You will lead a team and provide overall management of their financial performance including business partnering and the management accounting function to deliver reporting and advice. The role will lead the preparation, review and monitoring of annual budget and long-term financial planning, which involves reviews, variations and calculation of Fees & Charges to deliver a compliant and integrated financial reporting function. The role will also provide high quality strategic and operational support to other leadership teams in the organisation so that they understand the requirements to make informed decisions.Suitable candidates will have a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Commerce and be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). You will have experience leading an innovative operationally focused team who deliver superior customer service activities and apply technical knowledge in an accessible way to enable others. You will have extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements that apply to the function with some exposure to fundamentals and standards which pertain to Government requirements. You will have extensive practical experience in Management Accounting roles across various industries with some exposure to the Local Government sector. Extensive experience in finance digital system, spreadsheets and accurate data management with an ability to produce reports and analytic results that are easy to understand is essential as well as knowledge of end-to-end accounting practices, financial reporting, budget management, key performance indicators and relevant legislative requirements is essential. Exposure to building capability or financial literacy across a wide range of people or delivering training would be advantageous as well as knowledge and experience in establishing and improving business process that facilitates continuous improvement across the organisation.Enquiries to Pat on 0439074391Like to know more?
