Job description: A highly successful, locally owned, IT company is looking to expand its finance team. We have a new opening for a Financial/ Management Accountant to work closely with the Director and the CFO to support the business’s continued success.This IT company has retail/corporate services/managed services and a team of 100 staff locally.The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to improving accounting procedures and policies, to enhance team efficiency and compliance.Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Director, working closely with an on-site CFO, and an assistant accounts person within the Finance team
• Be part of the finance team responsible for end of month duties (profit and loss statements and balance sheets), and providing financial information to the Director
• Review of key account reconciliations (debtors, creditors, and inventory)
• Monthly journals and reconciliations
• Cashflow, budgets, forecasts
• Providing information to auditors, and initiating internal audits where required to streamline processes

About You:

• Proficient with using SAP Business One
• You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with the different business teams
• You are driven to make a positive impact on internal processes and procedures
