• This is hybrid, 4 days in the office, Monday-Thursday, Friday remote.
• 5 – 10 years of experience.
• A Financial Information Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing financial data and providing insights to guide business decisions.
• Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role:
• Analyzing Financial Data: Financial Information Analysts gather and consolidate financial data, including budgets, income statements, and forecasts. They meticulously examine this data to understand trends and patterns.
• Forecasting and Projections: Based on historical and current financial information, they create projections and forecasts. These predictions help organizations make informed decisions about investments, cost reduction, and financial planning. Portfolio Recommendations: These analysts recommend individual and collections of investments (portfolios). They assess risk, return, and market conditions to guide investment strategies. Evaluating Company Value: By examining financial statements, Financial Information Analysts determine a company’s intrinsic value. This evaluation is essential for investment decisions.
• Business and Economic Trends: They stay informed about industry-specific trends and broader economic shifts. This knowledge informs their analysis and recommendations.
• Sophisticated Reporting: Financial Information Analysts assemble and summarize data to create sophisticated reports on financial status and risks. These reports aid decision-makers.
• Financial Models and Benchmarking: They develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and analyze processes. This helps identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Consulting and Influence: Collaborating with management, they provide insights that influence long-term and strategic decision-making.
• Continuous Learning: To stay informed about industry developments, they actively update their knowledge in the field.
• Requirements and Skills: Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst. Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages. Strong presentation, reporting, and communication skills. Knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.
