Reporting directly to the Portfolio Director of Finance you will oversee the daily financial operations of our 11 hotels, ensuring maximum profitability across the portfolio. Working alongside the Finance Controller – Operations, this is a crucial position that plays a key part in driving financial performance and maintaining compliance standards.You will:

  • Ensure all company and regulatory deadlines are met
  • Set up and maintain a compliant internal audit framework for the Portfolio
  • Accurately distribute financial information to the General Managers, the Portfolio General Manager, Accor & Owners
  • Authorise outgoing payments for the Hotels
  • Monitor all internal and external payroll requirements
  • Supervise monthly reconciliations
  • Review and approve Payroll according to Accor policy
  • Lead and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of development and growth

Qualifications

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the Hotel industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance or Commerce
  • Experience of practicing key financial/accounting principles including Tax and Payroll related matters in Australia
  • CA or CPA qualifications is a plus
  • Experience in developing and managing a team
  • Being curious & open minded with a collaborative mindset
