The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our projects and ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in financial management within the professional services industry.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support project planning and forecasting
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Monitor project budgets and track financial performance against targets
  • Prepare regular forecasts and variance analyses to assess financial performance and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for internal partners and management
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support project delivery
  • Liaison Inquiries with Revenue Recognition / Finance teams
  • Engage with clients to discuss project financials, billing, and invoicing as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objective
  • Identify opportunities to Optimize Margins & Hours
  • Manage Resourcing & Staffing Plans
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Efforts
  • Analyze / Optimize Contingency Usage
  • Prepare / Endorse Attestation Financials
  • Drive Partners Communications & Change Orders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management and 2+ years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel or Google sheet skills
  • Experience with financial systems and tools (preferably ERP systems, Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Data analytics and/or Tableau experience is preferred
