Job description: Our client is currently seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to join their team in Castlebar. This is a key leadership role that will contribute directly to financial strategy, performance, and decision-making across the organisation.🔍 Key Responsibilities:Lead financial planning, budgeting, and tax compliance across company entitiesPrepare and analyse accurate financial reports, forecasts, and statementsAdvise senior management on financial results and key business decisionsOversee transactional finance, contracts, margin analysis, and internal reportingDrive strategic business planning with data-led insights and recommendationsLead and develop the finance team, ensuring strong controls and accountabilityManage intercompany transactions, payroll, cash flow, and working capitalOptimise financial systems and implement improved processes and efficienciesMaintain and enhance corporate governance, risk management, and internal controlsProvide expert financial guidance on company-wide initiatives and decisions✅ Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)Proven experience in a senior financial role, ideally as a Financial ControllerExcellent leadership, communication, and team management skillsStrong technical knowledge in financial strategy, compliance, and reportingAbility to work hands-on with day-to-day financial duties while contributing to broader strategic goalsProficiency in modern financial technologies and ERP/accounting systemsCommercial awareness and sound judgment in decision-makingWhy Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business in the West of Ireland and play a pivotal role in its continued growth.
