So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About The JobYou will be responsible for operations and for coordinating collaboration with counterparts in finance processes—such as the Finance Shared Service Centre and Local Finance teams. Your role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in our financial practices. Besides that, you will also be an important part of our D365 implementation planned for 2026. Your key responsibilities include:Accounting Operations: Ensure the accurate and appropriate recording of all accounting transactions, including revenues and expenses. Reconcile accounts, maintain up-to-date and accurate bookkeeping, and manage the general ledger in line with accounting principles and reporting schedules. Support month-end closings and help resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities.Collaboration & Controls: Coordinate with the Finance Shared Service Centre to monitor the correctness of system transactions (AP, AR, Travel Expenses). Establish and monitor accounting control procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal group policies.Reporting & Projects: Follow up on projects (investment, internal, E&S, and others), claims, and VAT. Support inventory reconciliation and manage various reporting obligations such as CBAM, Intrastat, and internal reports.Systems & Process Ownership: Take responsibility for Finance ERP systems and contribute to their improvement. Act as a process owner for accounting, ensuring quality, consistency, and driving process enhancements.This is a great opportunity to take on a key role in a dynamic environment with exciting development ahead in our financial systems and processes. This position is based at our Nakskov office.What You KnowYou have a background in finance or accounting, backed by a relevant degree and +5 years of experience—ideally from an international or manufacturing environment. You’re comfortable working with general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end closings, and you understand accounting standards like IFRS.
