Job description: Job Summary:The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The primary focus will be on preparing and reviewing accounting schedules in compliance with US and local GAAP, and ensuring adherence to internal policies. Additionally, the role will include corporate secretary functions to support the company’s governance and compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Marketing and Vendor Funds, and General Ledger.
• Prepare and review accounting schedules to ensure compliance with US and local GAAP.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance and handle regional and corporate requests on various accounting issues
• Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Support ad-hoc projects.
• Provide financial analysis and decision support to management.
• Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports and other corporate documents.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on corporate governance matters.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• 10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
• Should be professional qualified – CPA.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to solve the problem and manage the conflict of works across the functional departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
