They foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring their team is empowered to drive success.Reporting to the CFO, as the Financial Controller, you will provide leadership to the Financial Accounting & Reporting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Overseeing internal financial reporting, preparing annual budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with NZ GAAP and other regulations.
• Treasury & Financial Systems: Managing cash flow, treasury transactions, and optimizing funding in line with the Treasury Policy.
• Audit & Risk Management: Leading the annual audit process and implementing an effective risk framework.
• Leadership & Strategy: Mentoring a team of accountants and working closely with the CFO on finance objectives.
• Corporate Governance: Supporting board and committee reporting, attending meetings, and ensuring financial control processes are best in class.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Finance or Commerce and CAANZ (or equivalent) chartered accountant status.
• Experience: 5+ years in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role, with proven leadership skills.
• Skills: Strong financial analysis, risk management, and tax compliance knowledge, with advanced problem-solving abilities and commercial acumen.
