We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Business Management & Implementation Finance (BM&I Finance) team, responsible for managing Danske Bank’s premises budget of over 1.9 billion DKK.You will provide financial advice to real estate and facility managers, administer invoices, and oversee premises projects, ensuring professional financial management and data-driven decisions. You will work with a team of four experts based in Denmark and Finland, collaborating and supporting each other daily.Your responsibilities include managing premises cost accounts, handling invoices, interacting with external vendors, and assisting in cost monitoring and budgeting processes. Join us to play a crucial role in partnering with Group Workplace Management department who is responsible for optimizing our workplace environment and maintaining operational excellence.A diverse workday with both administrative and development tasksAs Financial Analyst, your primary tasks will be daily administration of costs, monthly follow up on budgets as well as supporting the teams in the business cases and forecasting project costs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our internal and external stakeholders to set yearly budgets and create long-term forecasts.Job responsibilities:
- Daily cost administration: assign invoices to budget owners, support line functions in invoice handling process
- Effectively communicate with internal customers and all Group Workplace Management teams to deliver financial updates in a timely fashion
- Answer business related questions and deliver solutions in the form of ad-hoc analyses and P/L calculations for premises projects
- Update and maintain our projects database with input from our vendors or internal stakeholders
- Prepare monthly provisions to ensure correct accounting together with our Services Finance Partner
- Partner with our main facility management suppliers to make sure we are staying within the budget limits and validate contract changes and their financial impacts
You, together with the team, deliver high professional finance controlling, enabling the spend of the budget while keeping within our targets and act as an advisor, offering proactive support and guidance to colleagues who are not financial experts as well as suggest and implement improvements in our internal processes.Structured and Organised Professional with Growth PotentialYou are attentive to detail and focused on service. - 4-5 years of experience Business/Financial Analyst or Controller
- A MSc in Finance/Business Administration or similar
- Experience with budget management
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in business controlling, budget management, and cost analysis
- Advanced data management, analytical and communication skills
- Strong English skills are required, Danish is an advantage
In addition, it would be nice if you have experience
- with BI tools such as Tableau
- from a global organisation working closely with stakeholders from different countries
- with process optimisation in a commercial setting
