Job description: About the Opportunity

• Financial Reconciliations & Reporting – Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, deferred revenues, receivables, and investment portfolios across various entities. Prepare variance analysis and actuals vs. budget reports.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable Management – Monitor payments and receivables in compliance with financial policies, deadlines, and funding agreements. Handle supplier data accuracy and liaise with IT for issue resolution.
• Budgeting & Forecasting Support – Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis. Track and analyze program revenues and expenses monthly.
• Regulatory & Audit Compliance – Support year-end audit preparations, including trial balance review and audit lead-sheets. Prepare returns and assist with Ministry and external funding reports.
• General Ledger & Asset Management – Maintain fixed asset register, record amortizations, and review GL entries. Reconcile and report on gift card inventories and capital transactions.

About You

• Accounting Designation
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume, non-profit setting
• Hands-on experience with enterprise accounting systems and full-cycle accounting functions
• Advanced Excel skills and strong command of MS Office tools.
• Proven ability to improve processes and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Strong prioritization skills under pressure and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
