Job description: About the Opportunity

Financial Reconciliations & Reporting – Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, deferred revenues, receivables, and investment portfolios across various entities. Prepare variance analysis and actuals vs. budget reports.
Accounts Payable/Receivable Management – Monitor payments and receivables in compliance with financial policies, deadlines, and funding agreements. Handle supplier data accuracy and liaise with IT for issue resolution.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support – Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis. Track and analyze program revenues and expenses monthly.
Regulatory & Audit Compliance – Support year-end audit preparations, including trial balance review and audit lead-sheets. Prepare returns and assist with Ministry and external funding reports.
General Ledger & Asset Management – Maintain fixed asset register, record amortizations, and review GL entries. Reconcile and report on gift card inventories and capital transactions.

About You

Accounting Designation
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume, non-profit setting
Hands-on experience with enterprise accounting systems and full-cycle accounting functions
Advanced Excel skills and strong command of MS Office tools.
Proven ability to improve processes and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
Strong prioritization skills under pressure and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
