Job description: We are supporting a global aviation leader in DIFC to hire a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant. This role is ideal for a qualified accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across complex intercompany structures and reconciliations.Client DetailsOur client is a multinational player in their sector, headquartered in DIFC. With hundreds of legal entities across the group and a significant intercompany network, they maintain robust and structured financial operations and reporting, adhering to international accounting standards.Description
Responsible for the monthly recording and reconciliation of high-volume intercompany transactions across the Group’s legal entitiesManage the monthly bank reconciliation process and coordinate with departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Lease Operations) to resolve discrepanciesGenerate reports summarising reconciliation status and outstanding itemsAssist in preparing monthly consolidated management accounts in USD under IFRS standardsSupport monthly account reconciliations and ledger maintenance within Oracle FinancialsContribute to internal projects and support wider Finance team operationsAssist in responding to audit queries (internal and external)Profile
Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with around 4 years of experienceStrong working knowledge of Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems (e.g., SAP)Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to manage complex modelsExperience in financial statement preparation and intercompany reconciliationsExposure to capital structure accounting (Debt + Equity) and intercompany frameworks is highly desirableFamiliarity with IFRS and practical application of standardsLeasing industry experience is a plus, though not mandatoryStrong attention to detail and willingness to continuously improve processesJob Offer
