• Prior accounting experience required.
• Relevant academic qualifications.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Analyze financial data and generate reports on company performance.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Ensure timely and accurate transaction recording in the accounting system.
• Assist in developing financial policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Track and report all VAT-related transactions (sales, purchases, expenses).
• Ensure accurate VAT calculations, timely submissions, and payments to the FTA.
• Maintain VAT records and provide internal VAT guidance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and inform relevant departments.
• Resolve discrepancies in bank reconciliations and accounting records.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.
