A great opportunity for a financial accountant has been created to join a growing engineering focused business located on the eastern fringe of Brisbane CBD. Through continued growth you will have scope to grow and develop working with experienced business leaders whilst taking on ownership of a finance function.Reporting into the CFO you will lead month end reporting supporting the finance function and key stakeholders.Key duties will include:

• Prepare financial statements
• Complete compliance reporting
• Manage budgets and variance analysis
• Oversee AP, AR and Payroll
• Drive business process improvements

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified with proven ability delivering end to end accounts and statutory reporting providing guidance and leadership to support staff. A confident communication style and ability to engage at all levels of a business will be key to the success in this role partnered with a solutions focused approach.Please submit your resume in a Word format to commence the application process. Expected salary: $100000 – 110000 per year
