• Year end and interim Financial Statements
• Reporting to the Shareholder and Treasury
• Cashflow and balance sheet reporting
• Direct and Indirect tax returns

Financial Reporting and Tax

• Preparation of the Interim and Year End Financial Statements
• Co-ordinating external auditor Audit requests and queries and assisting with responses Assisting the preparation of the annual income tax return

Tax & Treasury

• Accurate & timely preparation of all indirect tax returns (monthly and/or quarterly as required)
• Reconciliation of NRWT certificates

What We’re Looking For – Tā mātou e kimi nei:To be successful in this role, you will need the following

• Minimum three years+ Finance department experience and experience within an accounting/audit environment and/or within a complex business.
• Business/Finance Degree (or similar) qualified & qualified Chartered Accountant (or international equivalent) required,
• Financial and management accounting and reporting experience within a large and complex organisation
• Strong organisational & time management skills and high attention to detail,
• Excellent interpersonal skills – be able to establish and develop effective working relationships with peers
• Analytical skills, with a high attention to detail,
• Initiative and a proactive approach with a positive attitude and self-motivation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent problem solving and listening skills,
• Confidentiality
