Job description: Job Description:About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Tax Manager to join our team in Dunsandel. This role is perfect for someone looking to play a key part in financial strategy, tax compliance and business planning.You’ll be operating at a senior level, supporting the Financial Controller and working closely with CFO and the Executive Leadership Team and external advisors. This is a high-impact role with real commercial visibility across the business.Key responsibilities of this role include.

• Leading financial reporting and ensuring accuracy and integrity in all external and internal reporting
• Overseeing tax compliance, planning, and optimisation strategies
• Supporting strategic planning with robust cost modelling and margin analysis
• Owning and developing product costing frameworks
• Building relationships with external advisors to manage compliance and risk
• Providing strategic leadership in financial and tax matters with full responsibility for audit and inventory
• Owning of annual report and supporting Finance Controller for investor pack

This is a role that is a natural platform to demonstrate leadership, build cross-functional influence and potentially step into a broader role in the future.Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and tax roles, with at least 1 year in a management role.
• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/NZ GAAP and local tax legislation.
• Deep understanding of tax compliance, planning, and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage complex tax issues and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience working with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance and address audit findings.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in cost modelling and margin analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
