Job description: Our client is a well-known foreign bank with a strong presence in Asia and Europe. they are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Associate (1 year contract) to join the team. This role is essential in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our operation functions.*This is a 1 year contract role with the possibility of renewal based on performance and business needs.Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Manage the processing of accounts payable and receivable, including the timely and accurate preparation of payment transactions.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and maintaining customer records.
• Process and track claims, ensuring timely approvals and accurate accounting treatment.
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy in accounting entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting or financial operations in Bank
• Good knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
