Job description: Our client is a well-known foreign bank with a strong presence in Asia and Europe. they are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Associate (1 year contract) to join the team. This role is essential in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our operation functions.*This is a 1 year contract role with the possibility of renewal based on performance and business needs.Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Manage the processing of accounts payable and receivable, including the timely and accurate preparation of payment transactions.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and maintaining customer records.
Process and track claims, ensuring timely approvals and accurate accounting treatment.
Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy in accounting entries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in accounting or financial operations in Bank
Good knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
