Job description: SynopsisIf you would like to be involved in a true, transformational journey, now is the time!The Finance officer within the Accounts receivables team will be responsible for highly detailed client-specific invoices across multiple business areas. Liaising with various commercial revenue teams – Charter, holidays, engineering – for billing processes. You will make sure accounting is timely and accurate.AccountabilitiesEnsuring the accuracy of invoicing and managing billing interfacesEnsures Invoices are delivered to the customer on timely basesPerforms daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claimsMonitors the billing metrics database and utilize the metrics to improve the performanceReconciling billing customer accounts to the Revenue ledgerPerform month end Closing activities and manage revenue billing accrualsSupport internal and external auditor’s queriesSupport Tax team with billing queriesEnsure compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodiesAssist with the implementation of a new billing systemsCo-ordinating with accounts receivable, credit/collections and GL teamEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field MinimumKnowledge of main ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of work experience within relevant field.Ability to prioritize and manage time.Good communications skills in both spoken and writtenExperience with a large customer base and high transaction volumeAbout Etihad AirwaysEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world’s leading airlines.
