We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our Bolton Clarke team. You are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial services functions.Key Activities:
- Accounts payable invoice and data entry.
- Creditor statement reconciliations.
- Responding to creditor and internal queries.
- Process cheque and electronic payments (local and international).
- Liaise with site staff on an ongoing basis as required.
- Assist with the reconciliation of Accounts Payable related General Ledger accounts.
- Liaise with local networks, professionals, government departments and suppliers to promote the organisation and remain abreast of emerging issues.
- Manage complaints and grievances in a timely manner.
- Undertake reporting activities together with other relevant documentation within the scope of your role.
- Participate in business planning processes and policy and procedure formulation and improvement within your area of responsibility.
About you
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a large multi-site organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in account management functions and ability to manage large volumes of financial data for a growing organisation working with multiple ledgers.
- Demonstrated experience with a computerised financial accounting system including fast
- accurate keyboard skills and preferably advanced spread sheeting skills.
- Excellent understanding of Australian GST requirements
- Aged care industry experiences preferable but not essential.
