As a part of our team, you can look forward to a dynamic work environment where you will actively engage with a diverse group of people from many backgrounds.Expected start date and duration of employment This is a permanent position starting on 1 August 2025 or as soon as possible.Job description The Finance Manager role is a newly established position at the CO2 Research Center (CORC). The Finance Manager will become a key member of the CORC Operations team, reporting directly to the COO. The role will not only lead the overall strategic finance activities for the COO but also support the CEO and the Operations team on all strategic and tactical financial matters.The CO2 Research Center is based with headquarters at Aarhus University (AU) and five University hubs within Denmark, Germany, and USA. The Finance Manager is therefore required to collaborate closely with the Finance Office at AU, where our financial controlling is operated, but also integrate financial planning and reporting processes across the University hubs. This is to ensure a seamless integration across our CORC operating model.The Finance Manager’s main tasks include:

The center’s purpose is to develop novel science and early technologies for carbon capture and conversion. The Center comprises 15+ research groups at Aarhus University and Stanford University (US), University of Tübingen (DE), Potsdam University (DE), University of Copenhagen (DK) and Technical University of Denmark (DK).
