Job description: Our client is seeking a Finance Manager specializing in hedge fund accounting to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support fund valuation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment analysis.Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations for hedge funds, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to fund operations.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional development and collaboration.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in fund accounting operations.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with auditors, investors, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hedge fund accounting or related finance roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Proficient in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
