Job description: Our client is seeking a Finance Manager specializing in hedge fund accounting to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support fund valuation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment analysis.Key Responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations for hedge funds, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to fund operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional development and collaboration.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in fund accounting operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with auditors, investors, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hedge fund accounting or related finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
