Job description:

• Supervise all accounting functions, including management, month-end closing, journal entries, and intricate account reconciliations.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, offering actionable insights on financial performance to senior management.
• Prepare and deliver consolidated management reports, statutory filings, and board materials. Manage end-to-end annual audits and tax submissions in Hong Kong, ensuring compliance with HKFRS/IFRS.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial controls, reporting systems, and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with business units on financial analysis for new initiatives, cost optimization, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Qualified Accountant certification (HKICPA, CICPA, or ACCA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience, with a background in sizable corporations being essential.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, macros), Power BI, and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Strong knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate tasks effectively, and meet stringent deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin is crucial); adept at presenting complex financial data clearly to stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven; capable of excelling in fast-paced environments.
