Our client is seeking a capable and motivated Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.In this pivotal role, you’ll manage end-to-end financial reporting and play a hands-on part in strategic planning and operational excellence. - Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial statements to inform key business decisions.
- Own and refine the month-end close process, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Provide regular financial updates and insights to executive and operational leaders.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensure integrity of journal entries, and complete account reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, supporting long-term financial planning.
- Manage payroll operations and ensure compliance with employment and taxation requirements.
- Oversee fixed asset reconciliations, depreciation schedules, and insurance tracking.
- Take ownership of statutory reporting, meeting all deadlines and regulatory obligations.
- Champion finance systems, driving automation and data-driven insights with Power BI.
- Work collaboratively across departments to deliver financial guidance and enhance performance.
- Lead finance operations including AP/AR alongside the CFO.
- Maintain key banking relationships and ensure compliance with lending covenants.
- Monitor operating cash flow and manage liquidity needs.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualified, with a tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within a complex operational environment.
- Strong technical understanding of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Comfortable learning financial systems, continual improvement mindset
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and leading change in a fast-paced setting.
