Job description: Welcome to Benjamin Finance – a fast-growing financial services firm with big ambitions. We are in the process of applying for an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) license in both the UK and Ireland while also establishing a real estate financing business line, specifically in the high-end hospitality projects.We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on, and entrepreneurial Finance Manager to play a key role in shaping both business lines. Initially, your primary focus will be to lead the operations and directorship of our real estate financing entity, while also managing the financial activities of our EMI companies during the licensing process. Once our EMI license is approved, you will be instrumental in ensuring full regulatory compliance.What You’ll DoThis role is multifaceted and will evolve as the business grows. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Real Estate Finance Operations: Lead financial reporting, liquidity management, and corporate governance for our real estate lending business.
• Financial Oversight for EMI Application: Ensure financial planning, structuring, and reporting align with regulatory requirements during the EMI licensing phase.
• Corporate Governance: Handle statutory filings, attend board meetings, and oversee corporate structuring for both business lines.
• Banking & Treasury Management: Maintain strong banking relationships, oversee fund transfers, and optimize capital allocation.
• Tax & Compliance: Manage international tax matters, ensuring compliance while optimizing the group’s financial structure.
• Strategic Growth & Structuring: Support business expansion by assessing financial implications of new opportunities and implementing robust financial controls.
• Management Accounting: Preparing and having responsibility for the monthly accounts of the group undertakings and managing the liquidity of the group.

RequirementsWho You AreWe are looking for a finance professional who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of navigating a startup environment with minimal supervision. You should be:

• A qualified accountant with experience in finance, corporate governance, and tax matters.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and adaptable—comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in financial modeling, liquidity planning, and reporting.
• A strong communicator, capable of engaging with banks, investors, and external partners.
• Strategic yet detail-oriented—able to oversee both high-level financial planning and day-to-day operations.
• Comfortable operating independently while also contributing to a growing leadership team.
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail with an ability to thrive within a start-up and high performance culture.
• Willing to grow with the company/group and to take up directorships.
