Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionFinance Enterprise Partner – Strategic Finance, focused on Pharma EnterpriseWe advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love.The OpportunityAs the Finance Enterprise Partner, you will be actively partnering with business and finance teams across the Pharma Division including Global Pharma Strategy (GPS) organization as part of the Strategic Finance Team.The role requires a strong focus on enterprise-wide financial strategy, collaboration and decision-making support . This role will play a key role in shaping and propelling Divisional business strategies and initiatives forward, while fostering a culture of high performance and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results.Through a focus on agile ways of working, empowered decision making within the Finance organization globally and locally, and a shared sense of purpose in bringing medicines to patients, you will be part of continuously improving our operating model to increase effectiveness and to engage and empower our people. This may include adjusting the coverage of areas as business demands change.This role reports to the Head of Strategic Finance and will be based in Basel, Switzerland.The key responsibilities include:Business partnering with senior business and finance leaders (e.g.PLT & PFLT) with focus on providing timely and actionable insights around the line of sight of the Pharma Division’s financial outlookLeading with the Enterprise Centre of Excellence (eCoE) the delivery of Pharma Division’s enterprise planning and reporting events (e.g. Business plans, Mid Term outlook, T0, Monthly Outlook, Actuals, Global restructuring plans)Participating in key Divisional strategic initiatives, e.g. One Pharma strategy realisation, R&D Excellence and connecting their outcomes to the Divisional financials outcomesProviding strategic business partnering support to areas within Global Pharma Strategy (GPS) and delivering on Strategic Finance Team priorities.Driving transformation across the finance network and our operating model (e.g. DA FEP network) to ensure we are evolving to support the emerging business needs and applying a rigorous focus on the highest impact and value workCoaching individuals and teams to accelerate effectiveness, develop talents and to operate with lean, fit for purpose governance and processes, and to directly collaborate across the networkWho you are:To be successful in this role you are somebody who can partner in discussions beyond Finance. You display strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels and to position ideas and manage expectations in line with the desired outcomes. You have a strong Finance background, but understand through your experience working across different parts of the business value chain how financial decisions impact the overall enterprise. You see across areas to identify the best resource allocation, considering short term gains and long term potential. You help identify opportunities for functions to network and collaborate, all while maintaining compliance. You will shape, drive and deliver business strategy by applying Finance functional expertise and objectivity. You will inspire the best performance in those around you.You are a strong coach and mentor to the Finance organization and have a passion to develop people in an inclusive environment with a clear focus on increasing diversity.
