Job description: A leading insurance company is looking for a Finance Consultant to assist in IT budget planning and oversee its implementation, review budget proposals, prepare financial reports, and support cost-efficient IT programs.Job Duties

• Design and implement budgeting processes.
• Perform budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Coordinate with business units and vendors on budget and billing matters.
• Analyze financial data (e.g., expenditures, inter-company charges) to ensure compliance with budgets.
• Identify variances between actual and budgeted results.
• Communicate financial updates to stakeholders.
• Support Group and Local Finance with accounting processes and policy compliance.
• Lead finance-related projects and initiatives.
• Review and update IT Finance policies and guidelines.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in banking or insurance.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IT services and insurance business (preferred).
• Fluency in Cantonese and English is a must
