Job description: JOB SUMMARYReview and consolidation of financial statements of Filinvest’s residential business segment, including other reports and schedules required by the management. As such, he/she also is responsible for analyziang the performance of the regional business groups in support of the analysis of the overall segment along with his/her manager and/or the controller.KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Reporting and Project Financial Statements

  • Review and analysis of financial reports as submitted by the shared services group
  • Review of the financial statement supports and required schedules prior to submission to management.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports as required by the business unit.
  • Monthly consolidation of the residential financial statements
  • Coordinate with the regional finance partners for any changes/updates in the reporting requirements by the management. Acts as a link between the Controller and/or Financial Reporting Manager (Shared Services) and the Regional finance partners.
  • Perform a simultaneous review of the existing processes and policies with the regional finance partners and provide recommendations for improvement, if necessary.
  • Ensure that the required allocation of corporate expenses is performed accordingly and regularly.
  • Determine ways to improve the Financial Statement preparation process and accuracy based on the available system and data.
  • Other tasks are to be assigned, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is a plus.
  • With at least three to five years of experience in the real estate industry
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting.
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Excel functions, formulas, and data analysis tools (e.g., pivot tables, macros).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders (e.g., management, regional teams, shared services).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
