Job description: Finance AssistantNumber of Positions: 01Based in IslamabadContract Period: 8 months (extendable)Malteser International is an INGO working in Pakistan since 2005, and currently operational in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh provinces. Malteser International implements projects in Health, Nutrition, Livelihoods, WASH and Disaster Risk Reduction.We are seeking qualified and highly motivated applicant for the position of Finance AssistantRole and Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and manage bank and cash payments, petty cash, and voucher preparation.
• Maintain accurate financial records, entering data into systems, and filing documents.
• Processing and managing invoices, both accounts payable and receivable.
• Assisting in preparing financial statements, reports, and cost analysis reports.
• Reconciling bank statements and verifying transactions.
• Assist with employee expense reimbursements and advance settlements.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Helping with payroll processing and maintaining employee financial records.
• Providing administrative support to the finance team, such as scheduling meetings and taking notes.

• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Processing tax payments as per Income tax ordinance 2001
• Maintaining employee financial records

Education and Experience:

• BBA/B. Com
• previous working experience of at least two years in relevant jobs.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures applied in the INGO sector.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues and location Finance Staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
