Together with Telenor Shared Services Norway it delivers efficient business support to Telenor employees to make their work easier.Position OverviewAs a Finance and Accounting Executive, you will support daily financial operations and month-end closings for both Pakistan and Norway entities. Your responsibilities include managing intercompany cost accruals, processing vendor payments, updating management accounts, and driving continuous iprovement across financial processes in line with Group Accounting guidelines.Goals

• Manage reporting in-line with the Group Accounting guidelines.
• Prepare cost accruals and management accounts.
• Process vendor payments towards customer and assist in Coupa invoicing.
• Assist Business controllers on their day-to-day tasks.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives including standardization of process

Your Typical day at work

• Monthly cost accruals for PK and NO books as per guidance from business controllers.
• External vendor payments and reconciliation of pass-through cost
• Intercompany reconciliations along with reporting as per Group guidelines.
• Assist in sourcing process of TSS PK to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation to raise Purchase Orders in Coupa.
• Manage communications and provision required information to external auditors as agreed with Business units.
• Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.
• Cross team support in delivering daily tasks.
• Assist business controllers for sanity check of forecast before submission on quarterly basis.
• Driving process standardization across the Group.
• Reporting to line management on overall performance for this process
• Identifying opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
• Ensuring documentation and updating of SOPs.
• Bring in operational efficiencies in the daily tasks
• Managing ad hoc projects and tasks as and when required

• ACCA/ACMA/CA/MBA Finance
• Understanding of IFRS
• 3+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance preferably in a multinational environment
• Experience in accounting and financial systems along with process improvement/automation
• Strong analytic, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and/or automation

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas

• Excellent communications skills with proficiency in Verbal & Written English language.
• Ready to accept challenges and meet stringent deadlines.
• Well versed with International Accounting Standards
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities.
• Sound knowledge of Oracle Fusion and FCC is a plus.
• Good Time-management and strong follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated to undertake responsibilities and work without supervision.
• Ability to bond and adjust within the team and department
