Job description: Company: MarshDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team at Marsh Pacific. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.Finance AnalystIn this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely revenue recognition, and reporting and data analysis.We will count on you to:

  • Prepare revenue accruals and reconciliations, collaborating closely with local controllers on revenue recognition issues.
  • Perform revenue analysis, including client level analytics.
  • Support quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning processes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Support the business with development of ad hoc reports and analysis.
  • Assist the wider finance team with the internal reporting requirements and financial controls.

What you need to have:

  • Degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent.
  • CPA/CA qualification.
  • Management Accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Confident communication skills and a passion for partnering with the business.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and challenge the business where appropriate.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, handle competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.

What makes you stand out?

  • Experience with Oracle EPM is highly regarded
  • Dashboard experience preferred but not essential.
