Job description: We are hiring for Senior Financial Analyst with one of our client based in Toronto, ONPosition Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Length of Contract: 6 months
Physical Working Location (required): Toronto ON
Is this role remote?: hybrid 2 days a week
Hours of Operation: 9am-5:00 pm Monday-FridayDescription
The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes. This consultant will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP. The consultant is expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.This role required someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.
Must Have Requirements:
Consolidated reporting at large Fis (primarily banks) or regulatory reporting to CIRO (Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization / OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions)

• Experience within large financial institutions – Background in Accounting (reporting end)
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.
• Stakeholder management

Nice to Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Previous experience analyzing and enhancing reporting hierarchies
• Familiarity with S/4HANA (preferably previous experience)
