You will drive business development initiatives to secure new opportunities, with a strong emphasis on managing key client relationships. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership role with career development opportunities, even if you don’t yet have direct people leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing high-value commercial accounts and driving business development.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of three experienced sales professionals to drive growth in major commercial accounts.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Work closely with the GM Sales to ensure alignment with business objectives and market strategies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing major commercial accounts and driving business development.
  • Excellent attention to detail especially regarding commercial contract management.
  • Experience in commercial B2B products, particularly those requiring large-scale solutions.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and sales planning.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or business.
  • Experience overseeing RFP processes and manage tender documents for large commercial contracts.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale commercial accounts and driving new business growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience building effective client partnerships.
