Job description: Job Title: Field InspectorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Field Inspector with experience in utility infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct field inspections, provide detailed reports, and ensure quality standards and safety are upheld at live sites.Responsibilities

• Complete field inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Visit 2-3 sites per day.
• Recognize and assess utility infrastructure and assets, including poles, feeders, and other equipment.
• Use Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Organize, prioritize, and schedule work efficiently.
• Analyze and solve problems on-site.
• Walk project sites and access site structures as needed.
• Take photos and inspect ongoing work, writing daily reports on findings.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical infrastructure.
• Physically able to walk project sites and access site structures.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.
• Safety conscious, especially when visiting live sites.
• Experience completing field inspections and providing detailed reports on findings.
• Ability to visit 2-3 sites per day.
• Experience with Word and Excel.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and schedule work.
• Able to analyze and solve problems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Design experience and ability is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microstation.

Work EnvironmentThis role is 100% on site.
